Thakadu River Camp Madikwe
Situated in the 75,000-hectare Madikwe Game Reserve, 125km north of Zeerust, near the border of South Africa and Botswana, the River Camp has 16 luxury tents, with all the facilities to make your African safari come true. With a large open-air lounge and dining area with a rim-flow swimming pool overlooking the African bush. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your African safari. This is a very remote safari camp in the Madikwe Game Lodge.
Your day starts with coffee and rusks and then off on your 3-hour safari game drive in a Big Five game reserve in an open safari vehicle with a qualified guide and tracker. While searching for the elusive Big5 your guide and tracker can take you off-road, attempting to bring you closer to the African wildlife. After the morning drive, breakfast is served in the open-air restaurant. After a relaxing morning in the pool, lunch is served, a short rest, and then your afternoon safari game drive. Returning just after dark, dinner is served in the boma under the African stars.
